This fully guided tour of Te Anau begins with a pick up from your accommodation and includes various scenic viewpoints, overlooking our cool temperate rain forest and NZ's second largest lake. Along the way we'll Visit the shores of lake Te Anau, feed Alpacas, discover all about NZ's history, visit the endangered Takahe, and enjoy the tranquility as we leisurely stroll along next to the upper Waiau river. While at the river learn about our Beech forest and even meet the wildlife, (Almost guaranteed to see a Trout swim nearby!) or native birds that are unique to NZ.  Highly entertaining and all within a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Things you might want to bring...

A warm jacket depending on the weather... reasonable footwear, and a camera for scenic photo stops is a must! We have umbrellas but hopefully you won't need one.
